I think they were removed from the City, but I want to be sure. Additionally, we have Captain Janeway newly arrived. Chekov, I want you to fill her in on whatever you can, I already gave her your version of what's going on but you can explain it better in person.
I understand you're upset. [ He's not loving the fact half his people just vanished either, notably some more than others. Keeping his tone level, Jim raises his brows. ] But you're a Starfleet officer. We do not shrug and kick our heels when a member of our crew goes missing. Either we'll find them in the City or we won't, but we will know. First-hand.

I have hacked into traffic cameras, checked hospital records, sent messages on all frequencies they could possibly access, monitored the network for any signs of activity by them. And yes, I've walked a few streets, shouting their names. They're not here.
